Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Strategy

1. Introduction

EcoBuild Advisory is dedicated to creating a workplace that promotes equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in all aspects of our operations. This strategy outlines our commitment to EDI and the steps we will take to embed these principles in our organization.

Our vision for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion at EcoBuild Advisory is to foster a workplace where:

To realize our vision, we have established the following key objectives:

4. Actions

To achieve our objectives, we will take the following actions:

4.1. Leadership Commitment:

  • Senior leadership will champion EDI efforts and set an example for the organization.
  • EDI principles will be integrated into our core values and strategic planning.

4.2. Inclusive Recruitment and Talent Management:

  • Implement diverse recruitment strategies and practices, including blind recruitment where applicable.
  • Provide training to hiring managers to minimize bias in recruitment.

4.3. Training and Education:

  • Develop EDI training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Encourage ongoing learning and discussion on EDI topics.

4.4. Employee Resource Groups (ERGs):

  • Support and facilitate ERGs that promote various dimensions of diversity (e.g., gender, ethnicity, LGBTQ+, disabilities).
  • ERGs will play a key role in raising awareness, driving change, and providing a sense of belonging.

4.5. Monitor and Evaluate:

  • Regularly review EDI metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Conduct surveys and focus groups to gather employee feedback and assess our progress.
